Where can I manage my connections on NOVA?

Navigate to your account page → My Stuff → Network → Connections. On this page you can view and manage your connections on NOVA. To remove a connection, click on the menu to the right of each user.

What access am I giving someone by accepting their connection request?

  • Accepting a user’s connection request allows for the following

  • See connected user’s content on the community feed

  • Able to message connected user without linking to a job

  • Connected user will appear on your public connections list on your profile

Why can’t I message some users from their profiles?

Inviting a user to a job is available between any two users on the platform. This creates a chat that’s connected to a job that the sender has posted on NOVA. To message another creative without attaching a job, you have to be connected with that user. Send them a connection request, and if they accept you can start a chat!

How can I report or block a user on NOVA?

The NOVA community is built on trust and respect. If you believe that a user has violated one of our Community Guidelines, you can report them by navigating to their profile and clicking the menu in the top righthand corner of the screen. This will alert our internal team to look into the situation. If you don’t want to see a user’s profile or content on the platform, you can block them within that same menu.
