After losing her mother, Jo Marlon is diagnosed with the same cancer that took her mom's life. As she faces an uncertain future, Jo deals with challenges like joining a support group, coping with her loss, returning to college, and making new friends. Hiraeth is based on a true story and was released as a student short film in December 2023.
