"Last Days from Home" is a photo book series comprising 40 portraits of young adults captured in their rooms in Austin, Texas. Created as a physical time capsule “yearbook” and companion to my short documentary, “Children of the Algorithm” (2022). In this series, I am seeking a mutual collaboration with my subjects and the environment they are captured in as a visual exploration on self-expression and interconnection. Shot on 4x5 film, 35mm film, and instant Polaroid film.
