A Poor Use of Time is a multimodal artwork created with the intention of identifying & examining a societally underlying and subconsciously-normalized mental condition originated by and exacerbated by modern life within hyper-capitalism and the endless commodification of our basic human needs. It is also inherently an institutional critique of capitalism and modern society itself, and the ways in which we have come to be controlled by these systems in order to ensure our own physical safety.
