Vienna Taumel: a Whirlwind of Faces & Façades

A piece dedicated to Vienna’s rich music history and the architecture that lived through it. Visuals: Guy Roland’s 1995 film “Pacer” was, to my knowledge, the first hyperlapse film. Roland’s film was a huge inspiration for this piece, along with the genius work of the McGloughlin brothers. Music: The clarinet part was inspired by Mozart’s Oboe Concerto No. 1 in C Major, K. 314 and the strings were largely inspired by Haydn’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in F Major, H. 18/3.
