“The Big Day” is an absurdist dark comedy about the lies we make ourselves believe for our own “happiness”, and the lengths people will go to maintain those facades. Over the course of a wedding day, the yarn begins to unravel as people get more and more drunk–unable (or unwilling) to hide their true feelings.
