ALIENAE is a photographic project exploring ‘alien’ (strange, unfamiliar) qualities of the human body – it consists of a sexualized fashion context and graphic imagery which focus is on the subjects of the female form, sexuality, otherness and identity that is implied by unusual image crops and compositions. The photographs create kind of a morbid feel of emptiness and absence in contrast with the beauty of the feminine body form.
