The Plataforma Contra la Impunidad del Franquismo is a group that has gathered every Thursday evening in Puerta del Sol in Madrid, Spain for the past eight years to keep the memory of the victims of the Franco regime alive, challenge the silence around the issue and hold the Spanish government accountable for their inaction on the matter. Selected as the 2019 Global Film Prize winner at the 5th Annual Global Engagement Symposium at New York University.
