This March marked one year since we launched the Nova app—and what a year it’s been.
In just twelve months, Nova has grown from an idea to a global platform supporting thousands of creative professionals. We’ve hosted two unforgettable activations in both LA and New York, connecting our community IRL and celebrating the creative energy that fuels everything we do.
From day one, our mission has been clear: make it easier, faster, and more intuitive for creative freelancers to get hired and for companies to find the right crew. Along the way, we’ve listened closely to our users and released updates based on your feedback—like instant job notifications, improved profile customization, and more intuitive search filters.
We also launched several new features that helped Nova level up:
— The exportable Nova profile, so you can take your Nova presence anywhere.
— Nova Web, bringing the platform to your computer screens.
— And Jobs 2.0, a reimagined experience for both applying to jobs and hiring talent, built to streamline the process on both ends.
Our campaigns have grown alongside our product. From our first launch campaign, What Do You Need?, to our biggest and boldest yet—Best of the Best, starring Antonio Banderas and David Schwimmer—we’ve had a blast telling stories that celebrate the creative industry and the people who power it.
The numbers? Over 17,000 jobs posted on the app. Covering more than 200 professions. In 600+ cities around the world. All in one year.
And this is just the beginning.
